What to do in Pulau Kapas?
As mentioned in the previous blog post, Kapas Island is an island located about 6 kilometers east of Marang, Malaysia, with a smaller island, Gem Island, located north of it. Pulau Kapas refers to the island's white beaches. The island is full of tropical jungle, clear seawater, white sand beaches and coral reefs in the surrounding waters. It is promoted as a "diving and snorkelling paradise". Therefore, in this post, I will be going to talk about my diving experience in Pulau Kapas. Diving is a mode of underwater diving where the diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, which is completely independent of surface supply, to breathe underwater.
