3 Best supper spot in Subang Jaya

Image
1.  Jibril Cr: @therealkora A speakeasy supper spot in Subang, there’s a secret door to Jibril. We could tell you that the place is just hidden right behind Sangkaya’s door, no secret. The dark, retro-ish vibe boosts up your mood, perfect for gathering. College students would flock this place due to its reasonable price and hippy settings. Jibril’s salted egg butter chicken is the bomb you just HAVE to order. You could also try out their Ghandi drink, teh tarik blended with lychee and gula melaka if you’re adventurous enough. Jibril allows indoor smoking, so if you’re against it, it might not be for you. Fave Credit: @semuasedap Address: 25, Jalan SS 15/4b, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor. Operating Hour: 12 p.m.-12 a.m. (Daily) 2. Gold Chili Credit: @timeoutkl Locals are no stranger to Gold Chili, they’re best known for their killer buttermilk chicken with rice. What to do in Pulau Kapas?

Image
As mentioned in the previous blog post, Kapas Island is an island located about 6 kilometers east of Marang, Malaysia, with a smaller island, Gem Island, located north of it. Pulau Kapas refers to the island's white beaches. The island is full of tropical jungle, clear seawater, white sand beaches and coral reefs in the surrounding waters. It is promoted as a "diving and snorkelling paradise". Therefore, in this post, I will be going to talk about my diving experience in Pulau Kapas.  Diving is a mode of underwater diving where the diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus, which is completely independent of surface supply, to breathe underwater. As Pulau Kapas had been promoted as a diving paradise, therefore i had choose to explore the underwater world of it.  Morning dive Nemo Eel fish - is any ray-finned fish belonging to the order Anguilliformes, which consists of four suborders, 111 genera and about 800 species.  Eel...

Pulau Kapas, Kuala Terengganu

When one thinks of a beach holiday in Southeast Asia, the usual suspects come to mind: Phuket, Bali, Koh Samui, or for those who stick to the regular backpacking circuit, Koh Phangan. Beaches in Malaysia usually come as an afterthought. And when one finally does think about Malaysia, just about every other tourist ends up in Perhentian Islands, Langkawi or Sipadan in East Malaysia. As a local, I knew better but despite that fact, and having escaped to many islands on the east of Malaysia (not just the ones mentioned), Pulau Kapas was strangely never on my radar. Kapas island, aka. Pulau Kapas or Cotton island, just off the coast of Marang in the Terengganu state, on the eastern side of Malaysia’s peninsula, is perhaps one of the country’s best kept secrets.  What we found on Kapas island were empty, soft, white-sand beaches, pristine blue water and a delightful tiny compact island.  Chilling out and relaxing seems to be the order of the day around here. Indeed, th...

Restaurant Boston Baru, Klang

Image
Restoran Boston Baru  in  Klang  is notorious for its long wait time. I have heard stories where customers had to wait 3 hours just to get their food. Because of that, I have been putting off plans to eat here. Last weekend, I finally said ‘screw it’ and came here as early as 4.45pm to be one of the earliest customers. But what do you know, I still ended up being the second in line. If you are wondering, this photo was taken around 5pm – and the restaurant only opened it doors around 5.30pm. Imagine the queue by then. Since we were the second group of customers, we got a table immediately and had our order taken at 5.45pm. Our first dish arrived about 30 minutes later. While waiting, I digged up some recent reviews of the restaurant and most of them weren’t too good. That got me kind of worried so I kept my expectations low. From what I read from the reviews, the  Fried Hokkien Mee  (3 pax @ RM15) is the only dish which receives unanimous praise....
